Our Story

In 1986 as Originally called Airtime Hood River, Todd and his wife Kathy began their own company in Hood River, Oregon, to design and manufacturer the best quality products that help their local public safety departments perform and keep them safe. Their simple objective was to sell the highest quality and best performing public safety gear they could.  He and Kathy did, one department at a time, and their company slowly grew building out the Nine1one Gear.

Now today Nine1one Gear is located in Beaverton, Oregon. Were we still are committed to selling the best designed, highest quality, and best performing public safety gear we can.  Nine1one Gear is located not far from Mt. Hood as it began from its roots designing and building and selling products for extreme conditions for the experienced professionals to provide a line of high performance products for those who devote and risk their lives every day to keep us safe.

Over the years Nine1one has gone through growth challenges but we have continued to pursue Todd's Vision to “Demonstrate the courage of our customers and deliver innovative products that keep them safe and help them perform”
